My Blessings

Well, I have no hilarious stories to tell you so I decided to just post pictures of my 2 Blessings. They took a trip with Grandma & Aunt Naomi to Cabela's. Grandma knows enough to take a camera and she got some excellent pictures. Here are just a few....

Well, I promised Grandma I wouldn't use all the pictures. She is going to use some for her blog later. Hope you all enjoyed the pictures as much as I do!

MY TWO PRECIOUS ANGELS

Well, I guess I've waited long enough...I might as well explain my reason for the slack on my blog. Some thought maybe I had fallen off the face of the earth. It's been a ROUGH 2 weeks to say the least. It all began July 16th. I happen to turn another year older that day and for some reason felt horrible about that. I started another age bracket (30 of all things). If that wasn't bad enough....I was to go for a doctor appt for confirm a new little arrival on the way which we had been very excited about. It was definintely confirmed, BUT that I probably would not carry this one very much longer. I went through 3 blood test that week and they all confirmed the doctors suspicion...I would be miscarrying soon. Doctors know best I guess because 5 days letter I did miscarry. We were devasted to say the least! This was the second loss in 14 months. While we know both babies are with Jesus, we still have that emptiness. We have been so thankful for our families & friends prayers & support during this time. Tony & I of course show our emotions two separate ways...he wants to just go go go and me....I've kind of went into a shell and just want to hide from it all. Don't really want to do anything, go anywhere, have anything to do with anything or anyone at time. Anyway, just wanted to give you an update as to what is happening in our little world here. I was hoping to update with good news on the 16th but it did not happen that way. If you think about it, please just say a prayer for us. We've been told by well meaning people, at least you have two! That doesn't help the pain any!!! My mom gave me a book to read (THANKS SO MUCH MOM) entitled "Empty Arms" and believe me it was sure hard to read that book through the tears. I read the whole book in a couple of hours. I will probably go through it a couple of more times at least. Well, I didn't intend on writing a book, but many have asked where I've disappeared to so instead of writing it FIFTY times (a little exaggeration maybe LOL) I figured I'd just blog it and let them read it there. May God Bless everyone of you!

Our 4th of July

BANG
BANG
BANG
Ok, so normal people spend their 4th of July having cookouts & watching fireworks....we of course are not normal....we spent ours in the Emergency Room with Zachary. We did end up getting to fireworks though. It all started July 3rd. Zachary outside riding his bike when he was stung twice by a bee. It was on the left side of his nose. He seemed fine after mommy made it all better. That night we went to one of the local church around our area that was having fireworks. They passed out glowsticks to all the children. Zachary's somehow busted and the stuff inside got all over his clothes and hands. At first, he thought he was pretty awesome because he was glowing in the dark, but he realized not long afterwards it was not so awesome. He rubbed his right eye and yes you guessed it...the glowy (is that really a word LOL) stuff got in his eye. Zachary began SCREAMING...MY EYE IS BURNING!! Needless, to say we were almost in a panic. With all Zachary has been through we never know what might happen with him. Thankfully, the church had thought ahead and had paramedic guys on the ground. They rinsed his eye with water several times and it seemed to have helped. We were told they were non-toxic so he should be fine, but of course to keep an eye on him. With all that taking place, we didn't watch much of the fireworks because this all happened just as they started. We knew the next day was the 4th and had planned to watch more that night anyway. Well, when Zachary woke up Wednesday morning, his left eye was swollen almost shut. We called and spoke with his doctor and because of Zachary's history they thought it best he be checked out. They were concerned he was having an allergic reaction. So off we go to the ER. Well, long story short, it is just a normal reaction when around the eye like that. He is not necessarily allergic to them. We Praise the Lord for that! They said he will probably swell more the next few days so we just have to give him Benedryl & eye drops till things are better. Through it all, Zachary was a little trooper!

Sometimes, this is like our 2nd home...
kind of scarey huh!

New Addition To The Family

We have now adopted a little puppy...ok he is about 10 yrs old but he LOVES the kids! This is the dog my parents were taking care of. The owner decided he wasn't going to be able to care for the dog like he needs and wanted to give him to a good home...SOME HOW HE FOUND HIS WAY TO MY HOUSE!!! Ok, MAYBE, I let him move in. For the most part Cuddles is a very good dog!

This fuzzy wuzzy little puppy....
has had a makeover....
I thought this picture was so cute. He looks as if he is praying...he is really BEGGING for food. Just so you know, NO HE DID NOT GET ANYTHING!
