Grandma's HOME

It is with a Rejoicing, yet, somewhat of a sad heart, I write today. Grandma Shipman (that would be Tony's Grandma)passed away last evening. We are rejoicing because she was a Christian and she is now in Heaven with Jesus and Grandpa (her husband whom she had missed deeply for almost 2 years). The human side of us is sad because she was such a wonderful grandmother! We wouldn't wish her back for the world. It makes us more determine to follow in her footsteps and some day we will see her, along with the MANY others gone before us, but MOST of all the ONE who gave His life for us. WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE WHEN MY JESUS I SHALL SEE!!! Thank you grandma for your example! You will truly be missed...WE LOVE YOU!!

The Pumpkin Patch

This was Zachary's 1st School Field Trip. It was to the Pumpkin Patch. I was able to go with him since I had the day off. We had a lot of fun!

Mommy & Zachary at the pumpkin patch.

This is Zachary's whole class and the bus they rode on to the patch. Zachary was VERY excited that he got to ride Ms. Brown's (teacher assistant) bus since Mommy is the one that takes him to school.

We got to go through a corn maze. Of course, the kids liked the idea of getting the adults lost!

This pumpkin patch had a Haunted House designed especially for the children. They had so much fun screaming and running through it. They had SO MUCH FUN!

Zachary is posing with Mr. Pumpkin Man. It took a lot of convincing to get him to stand next to him as he was a little scared of him. It was motion activated so if you walked by him he started talking. It was cute but Zachary didn't think so.

A Trip To The Fire Station

The local fire station had an open house. Abigail & Zachary thought it was fun to be able to pretend they were firefighters.

WATCH OUT FOR THESE DRIVERS! DO THEY EVEN HAVE THEIR LICENSE!

Off we go to a fire.....

Zachary's 1st Day of School

Well, the day came that Mommy has
been "TEARFULLY" dreading!
HER BABY STARTED SCHOOL!
Now he will tell you he is NOT a baby,
but he will ALWAYS be my baby....
While he (as well as mommy) shed some tears,
he was doing better before we left him.
When I picked him up after school, he said,
"I liked school!" So that encouraged me,
yet made me even sadder...He really is growing up
(pardon me I need another box of tissues).
Here are a few pictures to share with you....ENJOY

Abigail's 1st Day of School

Today was Abigail's 1st day of school for this year. She is in 2nd Grade this year. It's hard to believe! She is growing way too fast for me!!!! Of course, she totally enjoyed school. I haven't had to worry much about that yet. She has always enjoyed school. I pray that continues the next 10 years LOL The older and bigger she gets, the older mom feels though!
