ANOTHER TOOTH GONE!!!

Excitement is brewing at the Watters household again as Miss Abigail lost another tooth today. She was very proud of herself that she didn't have to go to the dentist for this one either. Mommy played dentist this time. So I guess that means I'll be having a visitor today .... the tooth fairy...hee hee

Abigail's Lost Tooth

Another tooth gone!!! Abigail was very proud of losing this tooth. She has lost 3 teeth now, but this is the first one at home. The dentist had to pull the other 2. Her permanent teeth are growing in behind the baby teeth so they've had to pull them. She asked me if she pulled it at home if I would put it on my website (GOTTA LOVE HER!!!!) Of course, mommy isn't going to say no to this. So if no one else cares about this post (hee hee) Abigail does! I love you, Abigail!

MY APOLOGIES

Dear Faithful Readers,

Just wanted to let you know I think my Blog account had been 'hi-jacked' I was checking it last night and I could not believe the music (IF THAT'S WHAT IT WAS CALLED) that had been put on there. It was AWFUL!!!! I apology if any of you heard that....it DEFINITELY was NOT my type of racket! Thankfully, I caught it before too much happened. Thanks for your understanding!

MY GRANDMA ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

On January 31st, 1936, the world was changed in the Newman family. Naomi Newman was born. I don't have any pictures to show you of that wonderful day since I wasn't there LOL. She married my Wonderful Grandfather, Raymond Mayle in 1951 (Yes, that would have made her only 14 ~ but 2 weeks before her 15th Birthday YIKES!!!!! Please don't let my daughter reads this LOL) 5 years later, 3 children later, my precious Mother was born. Long story short, I eventually made it to the scene (hee hee). My grandparents did have a wonderful marriage but Grandpa passed away suddenly in 1992 and to this day is GREATLY missed!!! I am in no way good with words so I'm not going to even try. I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRANDMA!!! I LOVE YOU! Thank you for your example!
Here is a poem I found, Dedicated to you GRANDMA!

. . . TO MY GRANDMOTHER . . .

I remember soft and gentle hands,
Reaching out to dry my tears;
I remember warm and loving arms,
That chases away my fears.

Someone that I can run to,
Who always makes sure she is there;
An ear that will patiently listen,
Someone who always cares.

There's something rare and wonderful,
God places in a Grandmother's heart;
Something he knew a child would need,
Right from the very start.

Heaven has a place reserved
For Grandmother's sweet and kind;
But I'll have a little Heaven on earth,
In the Grandmother I call mine.

HAPPY 54th BIRTHDAY, DAD!!!

On January 15th, 1954, the world was changed in the Avery family. Phillip Henry Avery was born. I don't have any pictures to show you of that wonderful day since I wasn't there LOL and I'm sure he is probably glad of that (he knows I would post them hee hee) 20 years later he would go on to marry my mom and 3 years & 2 children later I would appear on scene. I am in no way good with words so I'm not going to even try. I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!!!
Here is a poem I found, Dedicated to you DAD!

MY DAD

As I ponder the love that I saw in his eyes,
A Godly love, given without compromise....
I recall many times that he stood by my side,
And prodded me on with great vigor and pride.
His voice ever confident, firm and yet fair,
Always speaking with patience, tenderness and care.
The power and might of his hands was so sure,
I knew there was nothing we couldn't endure.
It's true, a few others provided insight,
Yet, he laid the foundation that kept me upright.
He's the grandest of men to have lived on this earth,
Although he's not royal by stature or birth.
He's a man of great dignity, honor and strength.
His merits are noble, and of admirable length.
He's far greater than all other men that I know,
He's my mentor, my friend, my hero,

HE'S MY DAD!

I LOVE YOU, DAD!

HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY, ABIGAIL!

Eight years ago today our lives were changed forever! We began the journey of parenthood. Abigail was born at 12:30 AM. While everyone was worrying about having electricity and all that with Y2K we were waiting for our new bundle of joy to be born. What an experience she gave us! She was SOOOO anxious to get here that she 'tried' to appear along the highway but Grandma & Great Grandma made sure that DIDN'T happen. While I'm not going to go into detail I will say it was an experience I will NEVER forget. Let's just say there was no time for epidurals that morning. Abigail barely let us make it into the delivery room.....anyway.....HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY, BABY GIRL! Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you! You are very special to us...we love you lots!
