WOW! WHERE DOES TIME GO!!

WOW! Time sure flies! Guess I'm not keeping up on this very well and I don't even have an excuse this time LOL I could make up one I'm sure, but I guess this time I'll pull myself by the boot straps and admit it ~ I DON'T HAVE AN EXCUSE. Of course, we have been busy with graduations, parties, a wedding & the holiday so maybe that counts. I don't really have anything outstanding to tell about so I am just going to add a few pictures I've taken the last week or so. Believe me it's not even a beginning of what I've taken. I'm known as the camera lady around here because I ALWAYS have my camera and I'm ALWAYS taking pictures. Of course, some (ahem..I won't name names dear father - in- law) aren't very fond of me taking their picture, but I just can't help that LOL. (YOU GOTTA LOVE ME ANYWAY!) Anyway, I'll quit rambling and let you look at the pictures. Maybe I should pre-warn (is that even a word hee hee) you ...I have 5 nephews coming in from Kansas so I may delay in updating again. But who knows, I may take so many picture I will just have to share....ANYWAY....till the next time....taa taa

THE REASON FOR MY DELAY

WOW~It's been a while since I've posted. Well, I'll explain a little bit of why....MY HUSBAND .....he had Septoplasy surgery. What is that you ask? It's on his nose! I told him if he didn't quit being so nosey I would do something about it LOL well a woman MUST keep her word!!

(ok I'll tell the true story now hee hee)

He had a bone wedged sideways inside his left nostril which had caused his nose to get off track, therefore, causing the cartilage that separates the nostril to begin to grow wrong (on the right side) and it was nearly cutting off his breathing. The doctor says as bad as it was it is obviously something he has had for a while. We do know he had what look like a growth on the right side of the nostril for a while...couple years maybe...but the doctor says something was wrong way before then. Anyway, they have corrected the problem. He is just dealing with the after effects....having to keep gauze taped to the underside of his nose to catch any drainage that might happen. ESPECIALLY at work! This also helps with the dust at work. As far as pain, he has not been in any! I do have after surgery pictures but I didn't post them. I know some may not be able to handle the site of blood so for their sake I didn't post. I've had to change the dressing every day. The first few days it was AWFUL!!! I have now adjusted to it. Anyway, this is my excuse for not updating...I was playing nurse to my dear husband along with my other duties.

Mother's Day Song

This was the song sang in church Sunday for us Mothers. It was very beautiful...as you will notice it is to the tune of Consider the Lilies
Consider Our Mothers
1. Consider the liles they don't toil nor spin
And there's not a king with more splendor than them
Consider our Mother's God's gift to all men
A masterpiece fashioned by His own Hand.
Chorus. We have a wonderful privilege today
If we have a Mother who loves us always
Like flowers in springtime, they bring fragrance and joy
To us they are treasures which can't be destroyed.
2. Mothers are special, like flowers in bloom
The fragrance they give is like sweet perfume
They always are pretty to those who love them
Like roses received from your closest friend.
3. Mothers like lilies are there in valleys
When were feeling down they help ease our grief
They seem to flourish when showered with praise
Like wild flowers sprouting after a rain

More on Mother's Day

OKAY....So maybe I'm a day late (and yes, a dollar short)
but at least I'm getting to get it ...
Better Late than Never, right?!?!?! hee hee
This is representing the baby we have in Heaven.
No, we have no idea if it was a boy or girl
I was only 8 weeks along....it's been almost a year ~ May 24th, 2006
If it would have been a girl it would have been Oliva Grace..
I didn't even have a boy name picked out so my mom teases me it would have been Oliver LOL Anyway, it gives me all the more determination to WANT to make it to Heaven.

This is why I'm called Mommy!
(and I'm VERY PROUD of them)

This is my Wonderful Mother & I
(I knew you couldn't tell by the picture
because we look NOTHING alike)
HEE HEE HEE HEE

This is my Mother in law & I.
